Membership in The Dramatists Guild of America is open to all dramatic writers, regardless of their production or publication history. International members are welcome to join the Guild with no production in the United States necessary. Unlike other guilds and unions, there are no initiation fees. Residents of Canada will have $10 added to their membership fee.  Residents outside the United States and Canada will have $20 added to their membership fee.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Each level of membership requires different supporting documents necessary for the application process. For Active applicants, a review or program from a production on Broadway, off-Broadway, or a main stage production at a regional theater is required. For Associate applicants, some form of dramatic writing or composition is required, or a review or program from a performance of your work. For Student applicants, a copy of your student I.D., transcript, or letter from a professor on letterhead can be submitted. These materials can either be upload through the form below or sent in through the email.
